I lived in Campbell River some 30 years ago and left the Island to find work and make a new home. I moved to Prince George and started my career as a Firefighter. Two years ago we purchased a home in the community of Peachland and returned several times to work on the property, making sure that it would be just right for us when we made that final move.

We then started to question our retirement plans and felt we needed to look at other locations in British Columbia. After visiting the Island last year and having some serious discussions on what area we would be most comfortable in, we decided to purchase our retirement home here in beautiful Campbell River which not only boasts world-renowned salmon fishing, but scenery that is second to none. With the unbelievable weather we have had this winter, our decision to retire here was an excellent one.
